The story behind Remedios Cigar Co.
In the heart of Santa Clara, Cuba, where the warm Caribbean air carried the rich aroma of curing tobacco leaves across endless rolling fields, a young girl named Remedios was born on September 1, 1929. She grew up walking the dusty streets of her hometown, surrounded by a culture deeply rooted in family, craftsmanship, and tradition. As the sun rose over the tobacco farms each morning, Remedios watched generations of growers and rollers dedicate their lives to the art of cigar making. Those early memories the golden fields, the scent of hand-cured tobacco, and the rhythm of old-world Cuban life would one day become the soul of a legacy.

A love story, a legacy
As she came of age, Remedios met Roberto, a gifted cigar roller known throughout Santa Clara for his precision, pride, and unmatched craftsmanship. Roberto was considered one of the premier rollers of his time, respected for the care he poured into every cigar he touched. Together, their love story became intertwined with the art of cigar making, laying the foundation for Remedios Cigar Co. the United States.

What makes us distinct
Remedios Cigar Co. distinguishes itself by prioritizing the unfiltered heritage of old-world Cuban tradition, specifically the techniques of the historic Remedios region. While many brands chase modern trends of high-power intensity, Remedios is driven by the belief that a truly great cigar is a balanced masterpiece of patience. Our commitment to the "Remedios" method includes using time-honored fermentation processes and manual bunching techniques that favor construction and combustion over mass production.
"The Remedios difference lies in its authenticity. Each cigar tells a story of tradition and unparalleled dedication."
Ernesto Garcia, Founder
